Apps and Workspaces
Radar 61 gives you two ways to work: a ready made environment you open and use, or a blank canvas you build yourself.
Apps
An App is a curated environment with a fixed layout, assembled for a particular workflow. Open one and it is ready, with no setup.
Technical Analysis is the App currently available. It pairs a split chart with the Live Forecasts feed, Alerts, and the context widgets in a working arrangement.
You cannot rearrange an App. That is the point: the layout is known to work, and it cannot be broken by accident.
Apps are listed under Apps in the sidebar.
Workspaces
A Workspace is yours. Add the widgets you want, arrange them how you like, and save it under a name with its own icon, colour, and market focus.
Use a Workspace when you have a method and want the tools arranged around it rather than around someone else's assumptions.
Which to use
| Use an App when | Use a Workspace when |
|---|---|
| You are new and want to see the platform working | You know which tools you need |
| You want something reliable without setup | You want control over the arrangement |
| You are trying the platform out | You are building a routine you will repeat |
Opening an App does not stop you building Workspaces. Most people do both: an App to start, a Workspace once they know what they actually use.
Sections
Inside a Workspace, a Section is a named area holding a group of widgets. Sections let you split one Workspace into parts, for example one for forex and another for crypto, or one for analysis and another for monitoring.
How many sections and widgets you can have depends on your plan. See Workspaces for the limits.
