Define the criteria once and the platform watches on your behalf. Alerts are the persistent half of the forecast feed: instead of reading the list, you describe what you want and wait to be told.
Plan requirement: Alerts require Core or above. The widget cannot be opened on Watch.
What an alert watches
An alert is a standing set of conditions. When a forecast appears that matches all of them, the alert fires.
| Condition | What you set |
|---|---|
| Instrument | Specific symbols, or whole markets |
| Timeframe | M15, M30, H1, or H4 |
| Direction | Bullish, bearish, or both |
| Methodology | Down to the individual pattern |
| Confidence | A minimum score, from 0 upward |
The confidence floor is the one most worth setting deliberately. Leaving it at zero means every qualifying structure reaches you; raising it keeps the interruptions to setups you would actually act on.
Creating an alert
Two routes.
From a forecast. The bell icon on any row in the Live Forecasts feed creates an alert immediately, taking the instrument, timeframe, pattern, and direction from that row. No dialog.
From scratch. The Alerts widget lets you build one from conditions, which suits watching for something that has not appeared yet.
Lifecycle
Every alert sits in one of three states.
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Watching | Active and monitoring |
| Triggered | A matching forecast has appeared |
| Paused | Temporarily stopped, kept for later |
Pausing rather than deleting is useful when a setup stops being relevant for a session but will matter again.
A triggered alert links back to the forecast that fired it, so you can go straight from the notification to the structure and its levels.
Delivery
Alerts appear in the app and in the notification centre.
Important notes
An alert tells you a structure has been detected, not that you should trade it. It has met your filters. The judgement is still yours.
Alerts do not run on Watch. The widget is unavailable rather than limited, so alert conditions cannot be set at all on that plan.
